The First Post From My Home to Yours

Well, here I go...

My name is Courtney McCabe. First and formost I am a mother to my beautiful daughter Katherine. I also run a small business out of my home selling vintage and antique textiles. It has been a passion of mine for over 10 years. I began shortly after college and never looked back.

My blog will be dedicated to sharing my knowledge of antiques and where to buy them, fabulous finds I make, friends and antiques dealers from all over the country and promoting my new on-line business. (Talk about a run on sentence, whoo. Sorry!) All this while raising a soon to be expanding family.

I guess that all for now., Kate's nap time has come to an end. I hope you enjoy what I have to say in the future.

Wishing all of my friends in Round Top a great show. WishI could be there with you.

Courtney,
I also have a Kate (and a Sara!) Enjoy every minute of her babyhood. It is the most precious time and just flies by.
I absolutely love the vintage flowers I received from your etsy shop. They are exquisite. I create headpieces and hair accessories for brides and will love using these beauties in my designs.

Welcome to the world of blogging. I like your Etsy shop and found your blog through Flickr. I like doing a search under the word "quilt" just about every day and seeing what is new. I still feel very new to blogging even though I have been doing it almost a year but only 4 or 5 posts a month. I wish you much success in these new avenues of your business.

I haven't sold anything on Etsy. I am a collector and have a hard time parting with anything! I know you will be very sucessful if you circle your items between Flickr, blogging and Etsy...possibly even
Ebay but to tell you the truth I rarely go to Ebay now that I have found Etsy.
